No, SuperCut tools are designed for greater performance and would overload the MultiMaster.
Is it possible to use MultiMastertools with star recording on older MultiMasters with round tool holder?
Yes, the inside diameter of the star recording is the same, as the diameter of the round tool holder. In order to improve the power transmission we recommend to use the adapter order no. 3 01 09 189 01 0 and the span screw set order no. 4 30 33 087 06 5.
Is it possible to cut tiles with a MultiMaster tool?
No, the oscillating tool is not suitable for cutting tiles.
When unravel joints; my Carbide saw blade wears out very quickly?
Tile joints with a higher proportion of cement or tile adhesive in the joint, the carbide saw blade is not strong enough. Please use diamond-tipped saw blades.
What speed should I set on which tool?
On some tools, you will find some information on the packaging, about maximum speed setting. For example Profile sanding set. In general, the adjusted speed depends on the operation and the material. We recommend starting with a small velocity and according to the operation, to increase the speed gradually. Generally while grinding operations, because of emergent frictional heat, we recommend speed setting up to maximum level 4.For higher speed setting and high pressure to the grinding pad you may risk to melt the plastic of the Velcro fastener.
With which accessory tools it is possible to cut screws or stainless steel?
There is no accessory tool existing. Because of only slight movement during oscillation, only few teeth are in use. They would heat up very quickly and burn out the saw plate.
Is it possible to modify older MultiMaster with round tool holder into star recording?
Because of technical reasons it is not possible. There is existing en adapter, order no.: 30109189010. This adapter improves the torque transmission and that’s why we recommend it for older MultiMaster with round tool holder.
